Yves Christen
After his PhD in immunogenetics in the lab of the future Nobel laureate Jean Dausset, Yves Christen conducted research at the Pasteur Institute before leaving immunology for neuroscience. Founder and President of the French Fondation Ipsen during 33 years, Yves Christen is the current President of the Société de Biologie, one of the oldest scientific organizations founded by Claude Bernard, and the President of the international Scientific committee of the Institut de Recherche sur la Moelle Epinière et l’Encéphale (Research Institute on Spinal Cord and Brain). He published many scientific papers in immunology and neuroscience. He is also the author or the co-author of more than 120 scientific books.
