Dr. Kreiter is Professor for Cognitive Neurophysiology at the Brain Research Institute at University of Bremen. He obtained a Diploma in animal physiology, microbiology, biochemistry and informatics at the Eberhard-Karls-Universtität in Tübingen. Following a PhD in the group of Prof. Dr. Wolf Singer, he undertook postdoctoral training as a research stipend at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt / M and was appointed a Professor for Cognitive Neurophysiology at the Brain Research Institute, University of Bremen in 1997. His research interests include the neuronal mechanisms underlying information processing, dynamic network configuration in the visual system of macaque monkeys. To address these questions his lab uses advanced methods for multi-channel electrophysiological data acquisition and data analysis.
