Kathleen Rockland

Kathleen Rockland is a Research Professor at the Dept. Anatomy & Neurobiology, Boston University School of Medicine, a Research Affiliate at the Brain and Cognitive Science, MIT, Cambridge, MA and Adjunct Professor at the Dept. of Neurology, Univ. of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She studied anatomy and obtained her PhD from Boston University in 1979. Since then she has focused on cortical organization and connectivity in the macaque monkey. Since 1989 her main research was directed to single axon analysis of cortical connections, multimodal projections and columnar organization.
