Jacqueline Mervaillie has been working for the French IPSEN foundation since it was launched in 1983 until she retired in 2016. Most of her activities were linked to organizing international scientific meetings, awarding prizes and grants and publishing reports and newsletters. Partnerships and various collaborations have been established with major scientific journals such as Nature, Cell Press, and Science as well as with research labs at Salk Institute, Karolinska Institute and other scientific organizations.
